THE OPPORTUNITY

We need your help to take Searious Business to the next level. As a dynamic and persuasive project leader, you will represent Searious Business, expanding our network and amplifying our impact. You thrive on engaging new partners, maintaining their enthusiasm throughout the journey, and driving innovative solutions. Your role involves screening companies for plastic waste within their supply chains, devising innovative revenue models and circular design strategies for plastic use, defining implementation steps collaboratively with stakeholders, and shaping impactful partnerships with both commercial and institutional players. You are organized and responsive, and excel at managing multiple stakeholders and projects seamlessly. Given our international focus on projects across Africa, the Pacific, and Latin America, you bring a globally-minded approach and are comfortable navigating diverse cultural contexts. Aligned with our mission and core values, you are flexible and proactive in working with clients and partners. Collaboration is central to our work, so it’s essential that you regularly join us at our Eindhoven office to foster team synergy. Please note that a permanent work visa for the Netherlands is required for this role. Together with our partners, we can accelerate the transition to a circular economy and create lasting change.

WHO ARE YOU?

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• You have experience with the circular economy, cost/benefit analyses, business changes, economic systems and innovative business models.

• Experience within FMCG, plastics or packaging is also an advantage, preferably all three!

• You recognize yourself in these qualities: reliability, representativeness, perseverance, result orientation, independence and flexibility.

• You are fluent in English. - French or Spanish is a major plus.

• You have a real 'can-do' attitude and an upbeat approach to the functioning of Searious Business and the realization of our social mission.

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced, pioneering scale-up style environment.

• You are available 24-32 hours a week. For the sake of creating synergies and cross-overs within our team, you need to be willing to work regularly from our office in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

• You are entitled to work in the Netherlands for long term. (No search visas)

• Salary indication: € 38,000 - € 45,000 per year based on 40h/week, depending on years of experience. As a young company, we do not offer a pension benefit (you have to arrange this yourself), but we do offer a training budget and a high degree of involvement in company strategy.
